The EnChroma® Colour Blindness Test was created by EnChroma, Inc. To ensure accuracy of the result, remove any filtering eyewear or lenses. Taking this test with coloured glasses including "colour blind glasses" may cause the test to return an erroneous classification.
#Color blind test software
Blue light filtering software (such as Night Shift and f.lux) may cause the test to return a "tritan" classification. Before starting the test, turn off any software that may alter the screen colour. Results may vary depending on many factors including the type and quality of your device display, and operating system configuration. Tritans typically confuse shades of yellow versus gray and blue versus gray.ĬVD is classified by type (protan, deutan or tritan) as well as the extent which can be mild, moderate or strong. In fact, depending on which glasses you are wearing, results could be worse, or could change in ways that are confusing. The test is not designed to measure the change in colour perception caused by EnChroma glasses. What happens if I wear EnChroma glasses while taking this test? If using the keyboard you can also press "Enter" or "Space" to indicate the "Nothing" response. If you are completely unsure or see nothing, then tap or click the button that says "Unsure" or Nothing". Yes! If you think you can see a shape, but are still not 100% certain of your choice, it is better to take your best guess. On a computer the keyboard or number pad can also be used. #Color blind test series
You will see a series of images composed of dots with varying size and lightness. Depending on which colours are seen, the type and extent of colour vision deficiency can be estimated. When a person has colour blindness, they are able to see some colours better than others. By testing with different colours we are able to understand which colours you may have difficulty seeing. This test measures your ability to see a pattern based on its colour.
